Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines — JAIADS

The Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Digital Systems (JAIADS), published under the ICAILY International Foundation for Advanced Research, AI & Innovations (NPC), welcomes original, high-quality research addressing advances in artificial intelligence and digital systems.

Manuscript Type: JAIADS currently accepts Original Research Articles only.

Language: All manuscripts must be written in clear, professional academic English.

Research Scope: Relevant areas include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models, Agentic AI, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Robotics, Intelligent Systems, Cybersecurity, Internet of Things, Edge AI, Digital Infrastructure, and related advanced technologies.

Manuscript Preparation: Submissions should include a descriptive title, abstract, keywords, introduction, related work, methodology, results, discussion, conclusions, acknowledgements where applicable, and references. The structure may be adapted to the research methodology. All figures, tables, equations, and references must be numbered or identified consistently.

Formatting: Submit an editable Microsoft Word (.docx) manuscript or a PDF suitable for initial review. A final editable source file may be requested after acceptance. Use consistent citation formatting and provide complete, accurate bibliographic information. Further production formatting requirements will be communicated by the editorial office.

Double-Anonymous Peer Review: Authors must submit an anonymized manuscript without names, affiliations, email addresses, acknowledgements revealing identity, or identifying document metadata. Author information must be entered separately in the OJS submission system. Self-citations should be written neutrally without unnecessarily revealing identity.

Originality: Manuscripts must represent original work that has not been published previously and is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal. Any related preprints, conference papers, or prior versions must be disclosed to the editor. Substantial overlap must be explained.

Research Ethics: Authors must provide appropriate disclosures regarding ethical approval, informed consent, privacy, data protection, funding, competing interests, and permissions where applicable.

Generative AI Disclosure: Authors must disclose material use of generative AI tools in manuscript preparation, data analysis, software development, or research workflows, explaining the tools and their role. Generative AI systems must not be listed as authors. Human authors remain accountable for the complete manuscript.

Data and Reproducibility: Authors should describe datasets, experimental procedures, software, model configurations, and evaluation methods sufficiently to support critical assessment and reproducibility, subject to ethical, privacy, and security constraints.

Editorial Assessment: All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening. Manuscripts that satisfy the journal's requirements may proceed to independent double-anonymous peer review. Acceptance is not guaranteed.

Fees: Any applicable article processing charges, waivers, and payment conditions must be communicated transparently before authors are required to commit to publication-related payments.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting, authors must confirm that:

1. The manuscript is an original research article within the scope of JAIADS.
2. The work is not simultaneously under review by another journal.
3. All authors have approved the submission and agreed to the author order.
4. The review manuscript is anonymized, including document metadata.
5. All figures, tables, references, and supplementary materials are complete and appropriately cited.
6. Relevant ethics approvals, consent, privacy safeguards, funding, competing interests, and AI-use disclosures are provided where applicable.
7. The manuscript accurately describes its methods, results, limitations, and research contribution.
8. Any related prior publications or preprints have been disclosed.
9. All required metadata and contributor details are accurate.
10. The authors agree to comply with the journal's editorial and peer-review policies.

Original Research Articles

This section accepts original, unpublished research articles presenting substantial scientific, methodological, or technological contributions in artificial intelligence, intelligent systems, and advanced digital technologies. Manuscripts must demonstrate originality, methodological rigor, appropriate validation, and compliance with research ethics. All eligible submissions undergo editorial screening and double-anonymous peer review by independent experts. Review articles, opinion papers, short communications, and previously published manuscripts are not accepted in this section. Final publication decisions remain with the editorial team.

By submitting a manuscript to JAIADS, the authors confirm that they own or have obtained the necessary rights and permissions for the submitted material, that all authors have approved the submission, and that the work does not infringe third-party rights. Submission does not transfer copyright ownership to the journal. Any licence governing publication and reuse will be communicated to authors and agreed upon before publication. Authors remain responsible for obtaining permissions for third-party content.
